During Mental Health Month, Ms. Priscilla Murphy presented “ A Check Up From the Neck Up “ a mental health webinar for over 500 production workers and leadership. The presentation was insightful and engaging, capturing the essence of mental health awareness. Ms. Murphy did a remarkable job of demystifying mental health and making its accessibility clear to team members who may not have had much exposure to mental health before.
Ms. Murphy opened with the importance of mental health in the workplace. She explained how mental health problems can affect productivity, absenteeism, and job satisfaction. She also talked about the stigma that often surrounds mental health, and how it can prevent people from seeking help. Along with addressing the different types of mental health problems, including depression, anxiety, and stress, Ms. Murphy describes the symptoms of these problems, how they can impact people's lives and treatment options available.
I would highly recommend Ms. Murphy to anyone who is looking for an exceptional presenter for a mental health event; we’ve already booked her for future presentations. Immediately following the presentation, our company experienced an influx of request for EAP services, mental health resources and scheduled appointments for "A Checkup from the Neck Up.”
